Frequently Asked Questions

Do you come to my house or do I come to yours?

For the time being, my studio is in my home. For newborn sessions, I prefer to take the photos in my studio, as I have all the equipment, gear and props needed. I can travel to your home if you prefer, but those photos will likely be more lifestyle photos (photos of baby and family in their home, their surroundings) than the posed and prop photos I do in my studio. I can bring some things to your home, but the prop selection would be limited. We’d also be limited to the natural light offered in your home, which can be difficult depending on the weather that day.

Can I choose the location of our family shoot?

Certainly! If you have a specific place in mind, I’d love to create your memories there! Just let me know ahead of time so I can check it out and find the great lighting spots. If you can’t think of a place, I have shot in numerous parks around the area and can give you some ideas.

How far are you willing to travel?

Being a Milwaukee native, I’m there often and can tie a session (in the greater Milwaukee area) into one of my many weekends there. I can go as far north as Green Bay.

Can I have additional family members (other than my immediate family) join the photo session?

Absolutely! There is an additional fee of $50 for any extended family that wants to partake in the memories and the fun.

Do you provide clothes for my little one’s photo session?

I do have several outfits for newborns and up to one year. After that, you will be asked to provide your child’s clothing. I can offer suggestions or opinions on any of your options, if you’d like.

How many outfit changes do you allow?

As many as we can squeeze in to a session! But for your own sanity, I’d try to keep it to two (family) and four (baby/child).

How soon are proofs available and can I order prints directly from you?

Your photos will be available to you, digitally, in no more than two weeks. I do include a printing release for you to print as you please. However, if you are unsure of where to print, I can certainly order photos on your behalf. I use very high quality printers for all of my printed photos.
